Creative Industries Faculty Indigenous Scholarship
Students applying for postgraduate study are invited to apply for the Creative
Industries Faculty Indigenous Scholarship in the following courses:
- KK51 Master of Arts (Research)
- IF49 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- KK49 Doctor of Creative Industries (DCI).
The value of the scholarship covers coursework fees (if applicable) or a stipend
to assist in meeting living expenses to the value of $10 000 per annum.
Candidates must be eligible for entry to one of the postgraduate courses nominated.
Selection is on the basis of the achievement in the Indigenous creative industries
and the merit of the research project in advancing the Indigenous creative industries.
How to apply
Applicants must complete the University’s Postgraduate research application for domestic students form. Section 9 of the form should be marked Creative Industries Postgraduate Scholarship for Indigenous Students. Guidelines to assist applicants on completing the form are also available from the same sources.
Deadline for applications is January 2008. Applications are considered mid January and will be awarded on the written
application and personal interview.
Applicants must also attach to their application a written response to the
following selection criteria. Please provide no more than 500 words for each
criteria.
Selection criteria:
- Demonstrated record of participation and achievement in the Indigenous creative industries
- Merit of the research project in advancing the Indigenous creative industries
- Track record of project completion.
