Equipment

Students at the QUT Creative Industries Faculty have access to working spaces that include high-tech lecture facilities, production workshops, design and computing studios, post-production facilities and news rooms.

Each specific study area uses industry standard equipment relevant to individual needs. For example:

• fashion students have access to Gerber cutting and plotting equipment and the latest version industrial sewing machines
• journalism students have access to digital audio and video equipment for news production and TV studio experience
• film & television students have access to digital editing systems and studio recording facilities
• technical production, acting, performance studies and dance students have access to equipped and staffed performance spaces
• music students have access to digital recording and editing facilities.
